Michael Elion previously served as President & General Counsel and an equity principal of a $350+ million global family office, with principal-level responsibility across legal, investment, governance, transactional and operating matters. His private-market work has included direct investments, venture and private funds, acquisitions, financings and portfolio-company matters.
He also practices business law through West Palm Beach Law and has advised investment managers, founders, operating companies and investors on private investments, financings, M&A, governance and transaction structuring.
Before law, he worked as an environmental scientist. He also holds graduate training in biological anthropology and human evolution—the intellectual background that helped inspire the Robocene name.
